The New Word in Travel

Sure difficult time throughout the country, but polls show that citizens of these countries still want to let off steam through the journey. And even the bad news streaming out of Canada most media outlets still want to vacation and statistics show that they take them.

However, the holiday is closer to their homes in the year. In other words they take a stay cation. In fact this type of activity on this holiday to become so popular that include the word stay -cation in the Webster Dictionary to 2009.

Harris a Canadian Press-Decima analysis shows that 59% of Canada is that they take the holiday to 61% this year will bring them close to home.

Here’s how the rest of the poll went on holiday and how the pattern developed:

* 26% will leave their homes near the city.
* 35% akin holiday in their home provinces.
* 18% will travel outside of Canada.

Should be good news for the local Canadian operator. Cottage rentals and theme park traffic should show healthy but high-end tourist accommodation outside the major tourist centers and popular area may suffer.

But how the flow of money for the holiday.

* 54% will spend the same amount as last year.
* 29% will spend less.

This is because many of the vestiges of a holiday trip a long time. “These include camping campgrounds in the province, to stay with friends or take a day trip.

To combat that trend stay-cation many service accommodation located in a little more to offer deals to attract local residents to have a “vacation home.” This is the place better if you have a swimming pool and small garden for children. Main thrust of the ad is that the holiday will not be far away from home for the holiday.
